Sa isip ko lang
Alas! got a sunny friday morning today!

Finally, I got to download this song... kay tagal ko ng hinanap ang kantang 'to, just want to share it with you. Check out the lyrics and the brief description.

We have addressed our Blessed Mother by several names, a few of which sound terribly foreign to us. But how often have we addressed her by her name Inay?

Through the years, Filipino composers in different local languages have written kundimans and folk songs speaking of our mothers as inay or nanay. The address itself evokes an intimacy that remains very native to us Filipinos. It evokes a certain comfort in poverty, a certain peace in times of calamity. It evokes an image of Inay
waiting for us to come home after a long day, in order to calm the quickening in our hearts so that in peace, she can lead us to her Son.

(Arnel Aquino, SJ)

Sa mahinahong paalam ng araw
Sa pag-ihip ng hanging kahapunan
Balabal ko'y init ng 'yong pag-ibig
Sa dapit-hapong kay lamig

Mga bituin kay agang magsigising
Umaandap, mapaglaro man din
Iyong ngiti hatid nila sa akin
Sa diwa ko't panalangin

Puso ko'y pahimlayin Inay
Upang yaring hamog
Ng gabing tiwasay
Ay madama ko bilang damping
Halik ng 'yong Anak
Ay! Irog kong inay

Sa palad niyo itago aking palad
Aking bakas sa inyong bakas ilapat
At iuwi sa tahanan kong dapat
Sa piling ng inyong Anak

Puso ko'y pahimlayin Inay
Upang yaring hamog
Ng gabing tiwasay
Ay madama ko bilang damping
Halik ng 'yong anak
Ay! Irog ko, O Ina kong mahal
Ay! Irog kong Inay

Courtroom Drama King
Galing ako kanina sa munisipyo ng makati for a court hearing, I was there to represent my company sa kaso ng isa naming client. To be honest, when I arrived there, sa courtroom mismo, I was really kinda scared, kala ko sa tv lang napapanood yung ganito, and here I am, ACTUALLY.

Medyo prepared din naman ako kahit papano and tried calling other officers from other branches how to go about it, it was funny kasi, may isang story pa na nasaway daw sya ng judge for not calling her "your honor", natawa yata ako dun, kaya paalala sa akin, laging gagamit ng "your honor".

Awa naman ng Diyos, di na kami pinatawag sa witness stand, anyway, the case is already dismissed at nawawala lang ang mga stenographic notes nila and we where there to authenticate lang the documents and datas that was submitted by both parties.

Pero ayos din pala manuod ng mga ganun, I appreciate the sense of dignity, formality, courtesy and grace of the institution all at the same time... yung batuhan ng "objection your honor!"... "overrule"... and whathaveyous!

"All hearsay! your honor!".

It was really a meanigful experience, maisasama ko na naman sa aking memory box of been-there-done-that, and I realized that, there's nothing to be afraid of when you're there in the courtroom, after all kung di ka naman nakasuot ng kulay orange na may letter P sa likod, wala ka naman talagang dapat ikatakot... basta't mag sasabi ka lang ng "all truth and nothing but the truth so help me God".

Been two days na nag uulan, I just hope mas maaraw na bukas, 2 araw na akong nag durusa sa pag lalakad at paguwi...

"All Hearsay! your Honor!"

To infinity and beyond

Naisip kong lumabas to keep my sanity kasi kung anu anong kababalaghan na ang nangyari sa akin this week.

The plan was to do a "lonely planet" MRT route bahala na si batman kung san man mapadpad road trip... first stop sa cubao to go to Gateway mall then kapag naikot na yung lugar, sa katipunan, hanggang sa makarating siguro ng SM north edsa... tripping talaga (pun intended), pero nung paalis na kami, my sister volunteered to lend me her car. To make the story short...

Base sa assesment ko, (naks, tunog mall rat :D) maganda ang lugar, though parang nakakapagtaka, kasi on the other end of the mall, a stone throw away... may mga old cinemas which shows "bomba bimbo movies", old buildings, at yung mabantot side ng cubao, parang... pag tawid mo nasa ibang mundo ka... pag tawid mo papunta sa gateway, biglang nagiiba ang paligid... funny. Location, location, location.

Tried Taco bell, food was great on the first few bites, then nag coffee na sa coffee bean and tea leaf.

Fun. I think I feel better and more sane now.

The saga continues...

Mukhang di pa rin napuputol ang sumpa, yesterday, I fell off the stairs, dalawang hakbang lang, pero may sugat ang pasa, moral lesson, wag mag tetext habang bumababa ng hagdan, isa lang ang masasabi ko, as quoted by my mom... "ano ka ba naman, tatanga tanga ka!".

Pagpasok ko ng opis, at around 11:00 a.m., birthday ni Chona, swerte, may bogchi... pero maya maya, I feel like vomiting and very nauseous.

Haaayyy... I hope these misfortunes will be over. Come to think of it, am getting immuned already.

So much for buddha quotes... mukhang nakaka 5 thousand joys palang ako and yet I already got 10 thousand sufferings...

I just hope I'll have a better next week.

10 X 10
Been two days that I've been cursed with bad luck! dang! nung wednesday, when I pulled out my mp3 player from my bag, yung rubber thingy sa earphones, missing!

" To be a buddha, you must embrace the ten thousand joys and the ten thousand sufferings ".

Enlightened?

Over sushi and a japanese car
It's a lazy sunday morning and I'm listening to some chill out music. Went to mall of asia yesterday with my mom and the rest of the gang, kumain kami sa sakae sushi, I really wanted to try some of their stuff, and besides I was really craving, no! dying to have jap food. Pagdating dun sa mall, we went straight to the resto, the ambiance was nice, the conveyor belt gave the place some "aliw" factor, the attendants were so-so... ang hihina ng boses, di ko marinig. Funny thing was, we were really curious how to go about it... kuha sa conveyor belt, balik... jologs ang dating kahit na we wanted to evoke the we have the palate of a japanese food connoiseur, 'twas to no avail =p. Food was not that impressive, though there was one sushi that we were able to pick, which they said was really delish (am no fish fan) and that they were waiting (in vain) for a comeback, pero wala na ulit ganun klaseng lumalabas from the conveyor. Maybe for someone who's really a japanese gourmand, mag eenjoy talaga dun, pero kung sa mga tulad naming "pirated japanese", di siguro, ang hirap din kasing mag guessing game which sushi would bring you to ecstacy and which one would turn your stomach upside down.

bite size Sumo meal

Worth to visit just to give it a try, but for a 2nd take? nah...

Last friday, my boss texted me if something happened to her car when I went to her client, may gasgas daw na malaki... sabi ko, wala naman akong ma recall, and besides I drove her car last monday pa and I think they just discovered it yesterday... I even told her na wala namang nakapark sa tabi ko when I went to the client. nways... charge to experience daw, wala din daw sya maalala, baka pinagtripan daw car nya... hmmm... sounds bad to me though.

I might be going to greenhills later, gala muna! baka magkita tayo dun :D ta-tah!
